Full Ground Floor Refurbishment & Structural Alterations
Coton in the Elms – Full Ground Floor Refurbishment & Structural Alterations
This project in Coton in the Elms involved a comprehensive transformation of the ground floor, combining major structural alterations with a complete internal refurbishment to create a modern, open-plan family living space.
The works included the removal of load-bearing walls and the installation of structural steelwork to completely reconfigure the existing layout, opening up previously separated rooms into a bright and spacious living environment. Alongside the structural works, the project featured a full kitchen renovation, upgraded electrical and plumbing services, new flooring throughout, bespoke joinery details, and a complete refresh of the ground floor interior.
Working closely with the client, the design focused on improving flow, functionality, and natural light throughout the home, creating a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Every element of the refurbishment was carefully considered to deliver a space that is both practical for family life and finished to a high standard.
The completed transformation has modernised the property, significantly enhancing the way the ground floor functions while creating a stylish and welcoming heart of the home for the family to enjoy for years to come.
