Measham Road
Flood-damaged bungalow undergoing full renovation
Measham Road - Renovation Project
We were contacted by our friends at George Edwards Estate Agents to assist with a vacant bungalow that had suffered significant cosmetic damage following a burst water pipe. The property had been left unoccupied, and unfortunately, the leak had gone unnoticed—causing ceilings to collapse, plaster to perish, and the bathroom and carpets to be completely ruined.
Our team quickly got to work, uncovering that the pipe feeding the header tank had split in three separate places—despite being insulated. We stripped the affected areas back to brick, carried out the necessary pipework repairs, and began the full renovation. This includes fitting a brand-new bathroom with tiled floors and walls, reboarding and plastering ceilings and walls, fitting new coving, repairing or replacing damaged electrical fixtures, and laying fresh carpets throughout.
The property is also being fully redecorated from top to bottom to give it a clean, modern finish.
The boiler will be serviced and the electrics fully tested—getting everything ready for resale. Keep an eye out for this one hitting the market soon—it's set to make a brilliant home for its next owners.
