Prior Park Road

We undertook a comprehensive groundworks and structural package for an exciting Passivehaus project in Ashby De La Zouch. This involved a meticulous process, including a back-to-brick rip-out, removal of old floors, and a reduction in levels to accommodate 200mm of insulation with a fiber-reinforced subfloor. Internally, we installed new drainage runs, replaced the original lead pipe mains water feed, and adjusted exterior levels in anticipation of a level threshold patio.

Structurally, our work included underpinning the existing brickwork where steel beams required support. We poured new concrete pad stones to provide a stable foundation for the supporting posts. Additionally, we took on the task of removing three internal load-bearing walls, creating a seamlessly open-plan layout at the rear of the house.
